Reminders

Go kart booking software reserves track time against driver capacity, heat length and the minutes needed to reset the grid. Reserving puts online bookings and counter bookings on the same board, with deposits and card holds on Growth. It handles reservations and guest messages, while your timing system keeps running the race and your existing tools handle waivers and point of sale.

How a race booking gets from your website to the grid

Most tracks lose money on Friday and Saturday evenings in the same few ways. Groups ring in and never show, a ten-driver booking lands on top of walk-ins, and nobody notices that the junior track and the adult track share one marshal. The fix starts with writing down what you actually sell and how long each product holds a track.

  1. Name the tracks

Add the adult track, the junior track and any briefing or party room with their driver capacity. Write minimum age and height into each race service so the page only offers what a driver may actually drive.

  2. Publish the booking page

Embed the widget on your site or share the link. Customers choose a race, date, time and number of drivers without creating an account, and availability checks the full heat block.

  3. Set the commitment

On Growth, require a deposit for groups of ten or more, or a card hold for peak evenings and first visits. Cancellation terms appear before checkout, and a deposit comes off the bill.

  4. Check in and race

Staff see every reservation beside counter bookings. Confirm the waiver in your own tool, load the group into your timing system and send them to the briefing. Reserving does not touch the karts or the timing.

See the next heat and the track it needs

A briefing room can be full while the track looks open, and a junior session should never be offered an adult track. Give each physical space its own row and record every reservation there. The front desk then sees the same board that online customers book against.

The sample bookings are illustrations, not customer activity. The demo uses two tracks, a briefing room, quarter hour starts and a ten minute buffer. It reserves a whole track for each group, with longer blocks and a deposit rule for groups of ten or more.

Build each visit around the track it needs

Separate open sessions, private group races and corporate events. Each one needs a duration, a driver limit and a buffer. Safety briefings and kart assignment stay with the staff who run the floor.

Driver counts before checkout

Ask for the number of drivers before showing starts. A group of six gets a heat on a track with six free karts, and a group of sixteen gets the whole adult track. Customers never pick a time that cannot hold their group.

Grid reset buffers

A heat is longer than the race. Add the minutes for the finish, the helmet swap and the next briefing as a buffer, so a start is only offered when the track is truly free and the marshal is not rushed.

Deposits for large groups

Stag parties and office days cancel late. A deposit credited to the final bill, set from a group size rule on Growth, keeps the Saturday block from becoming an empty track at 7 pm.

Junior and adult sessions

Run each track as its own resource with its own age rule. A children session on the junior track never removes an adult heat, and the confirmation states the height and age rules before arrival.

Corporate and school groups

Offer longer blocks with a briefing room attached. Collect the organizer details once, take a deposit and send the group one confirmation with arrival time, waiver link and dress code.

Reminders that cut no-shows

Email reminders go out before the booking, and two-way SMS on Growth lets a late group text back instead of just not turning up. The track sees the answer on the board and can offer the start to a walk-in.

Match the schedule to your kind of track

Indoor electric kart tracks

Sell short heats all day with a grid reset buffer, and hold evenings for groups. Walk-ins and online bookings share one board, so the desk never promises a start that is already taken.

Outdoor and rental tracks

Offer longer rental blocks and seasonal hours. Weather closures can be handled by moving the group to another start, and the guest hears about it by email or text from the same record.

Family entertainment centers with a track

Give the track its own capacity next to arcade and party spaces. Keep admission and retail in the system you already use, and use Reserving for the part that needs a calendar.

Karting clubs and race days

Create a block service for a private session or an arrive-and-drive day, cap the number of drivers and take a deposit to confirm each seat.

A flat subscription for your track

Choose monthly or yearly billing and buy online with no contract. Annual subscriptions are paid upfront. Tracks within one venue do not each need their own subscription.

Compare booking software with karting platforms

Choose around the operations you need connected. A track that wants lap timing, POS and booking from one vendor will prefer a karting platform such as Clubspeed. Reserving fits when the reservation is the problem and timing, waivers and checkout already work.

Go kart booking questions

What is the best go kart booking software?

It depends on whether you need reservations or a full karting platform. Reserving suits tracks that want online heat and group race booking, deposits and a shared track board at a flat monthly price. Choose a platform with lap timing and POS, such as Clubspeed or BMI, if you want booking, timing and checkout in one system.

Can customers book a go kart race online?

Yes. Customers pick a race type, date, time and number of drivers, and the booking page shows only starts where a track has room for the whole group plus your grid reset buffer. They confirm with name, phone and email, and on Growth a card hold or deposit can be required first.

How do go kart tracks take deposits for group and corporate races?

Turn on Growth and set a deposit rule for groups of a chosen size, such as ten drivers or more. The guest pays the deposit at booking, it comes off the final bill, and your cancellation terms are shown before checkout. Deposits go to your own payment account.

Does it work with lap timing software?

No. Reserving does not connect to timing systems such as MyLaps, Clubspeed or MegaTiming, and it does not run heats or leaderboards. It owns the reservation and the guest messages. Your timing system keeps running the race on the track, and staff load the group into it at check-in.

Does it include waivers and point of sale?

No. Keep your waiver provider and add its link to the booking confirmation, so drivers sign before arrival. Food, merchandise and the race fee at the counter stay in your existing point of sale. Reserving handles the schedule, the deposit and the reminders.

How much does go kart booking software cost?

Reserving costs 49 USD a month for Core or 149 USD for Growth per venue, with yearly billing at 24 and 74 USD a month. Core fits online booking for a single track, Growth adds deposits, card holds and two-way SMS. There is no fee per booking.

Can I keep adult and junior tracks separate?

Yes. Add each track as its own resource with its own capacity and minimum age rule written into the service. Junior races only appear on the junior track, and a heat on the adult track never blocks a children session running at the same time.
