Reserving is axe throwing software for US venues with four to twenty lanes. Guests pick a start time and the number of throwers on your site or Google, and the booking page only offers a lane that fits the group and is free for the whole session plus the minutes you need to clear it. Parties of seven or more go on a double lane with a deposit, Friday and Saturday evenings can be paid in full, and you pay 49 USD a month per venue, or 149 USD (74 USD billed yearly) with deposits and text reminders. Your guests never see a booking fee from us.

An axe throwing venue makes its week between 5 and 10 pm on two nights. A lane takes four to six throwers for an hour, so one no-show group on a Saturday is 120 to 200 USD of lane time that nobody walks in to buy at 7:05 pm.
The picture is that evening with every booking taken online. Standard lanes hold up to six, the two double lanes (Duo A and Duo B) hold up to twelve, and a group of five is never placed on a double lane while a standard one is free. The party of eleven sees only the doubles.
Try it in the demo above. Set nine throwers and the page asks for a deposit; set four on a Tuesday afternoon and it takes a name and a phone number.

Most US axe throwing venues charge per person, about 20 to 40 USD for an hour, and switch to a flat lane or group price for parties. Per person pricing earns more from full lanes; a flat lane price is easier to sell to a birthday organizer who does not yet know the head count. Either way the booking has to hold a whole lane, because two groups of strangers rarely share one.
In Reserving the lane is the thing being booked and the group size decides which lane. You set the price per thrower or per lane in the session description, and the deposit rule works out what is charged at booking.
Per thrower, Saturday 7 pm
Weekend evening rule: the lane is paid in full.
Double lane party, Sunday 2 pm
Large group rule: 11 throwers, the rest is paid at the desk.

One lane board, a booking page on your own domain and a guest list that belongs to you, not to a marketplace.
04
Take money at booking for the sessions you cannot resell: weekend evenings and large groups. A deposit of about 10 USD a thrower is enough to make a party organizer cancel in time instead of going quiet, and a text reminder the day before gives you the lane back while you can still sell it.

Per person rates are typical ranges from 2026 US venue price lists, not a standard. Write the cancellation and late arrival policy once and it shows on the booking page and in the confirmation; our no-show fee policy guide has wording guests accept.

Axe throwing booking software costs from 0 to about 200 USD a month for one venue in the US, and the subscription is the small part. Platforms with no monthly fee, such as Peek Pro and FareHarbor, add a booking fee of roughly 6% to each online order. Subscription tools such as Resova, Bookeo, Sports Carnival and Reserving charge a flat monthly price.
Here is one month for a six lane venue that takes 500 online bookings at an average of 120 USD a group, which is 60,000 USD in lane sales. The bar shows the platform's share only, before normal card processing.
The fee matters even when the guest pays it. A group of five on a 28 USD ticket sees 140 USD and then 8.40 USD more at checkout, and they compare that final number with the venue across town. Bookeo is the cheapest line here and a fair choice for a small venue. Our case is the rule engine: deposits by group size and time, text confirmations and the waiting queue for one flat price. The numbers behind the first bar are in our Peek Pro pricing and booking fee breakdown and the FareHarbor pricing guide.

The best axe throwing booking software holds a whole lane per group, picks the lane by group size, takes a deposit or full payment on weekend evenings and adds no percentage to the guest's bill. Venues that want waivers, leagues and a bar POS in one product should look at Peek Pro, Resova or Sports Carnival; venues that mainly need lanes sold and paid for ahead of time are the ones we fit.
Growth at 149 USD, or 74 USD billed yearly: unlimited bookings, 10 staff logins, deposits and prepaid lanes, two-way SMS and the waiting queue. Bought online, no sales call and no contract.
Core at 49 USD, or 24 USD billed yearly, covers 300 bookings a month and three staff logins. Move to Growth when you want deposits and texts.
Multi-Venue at 499 USD a month, or 249 USD billed yearly, for up to five venues with one guest list and group reporting. Details on multi-venue booking.

These are the systems US axe throwing owners compare most often. They charge in two different ways, so price a normal month at your own volume before you compare features.
| Tool | How it charges | Fee on bookings | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peek Pro | no monthly fee, demo and quote | reported 6 to 8% of online bookings, passed to guests or absorbed | venues that want waivers, kiosk check-in, memberships and POS together |
| FareHarbor | no monthly fee, rate set per account | reported at about 6%, paid by guests | venues selling through travel sites |
| Sports Carnival | Starter 99, Growth 199, Pro 299 USD a month | 5.5% transaction fee listed on Starter | venues with leagues and memberships |
| Resova | Lite 50, Pro 90, Premium 135 USD a month for 100 to 600 bookings | none, 20 cents per booking over the limit | venues that want waivers and vouchers built in |
| Bookeo | from 14.95 USD, Standard 39.95 USD for 1,000 bookings | none | small venues that want the lowest price |
| Reserving | 49 or 149 USD per venue, 499 USD for 5, half that yearly | none, your processor's normal card rate | 4 to 20 lane venues with weekend no-shows |

Add each lane with the most throwers it takes, set the session length and changeover time, choose which sessions are paid up front, then put one booking link on your website, Google Business Profile and Instagram. Most venues take their first online booking the same day.
Each lane is a column on the board with its capacity. Enter a pair of lanes you sell together as one double lane for up to twelve.
Sixty minutes of throwing with ten minutes to clear the lane is a common setup. Start times are worked out from both, so groups never overlap at the line.
Full payment on Friday and Saturday evenings, a per-thrower deposit for groups of seven or more, a card hold for first-time bookers.
Put the booking link on your site, Google profile and Instagram bio, and add your waiver link to the confirmation wording so guests sign before they arrive.
US axe throwing venues mostly use activity booking platforms such as Peek Pro, FareHarbor, Resova and Bookeo, sports facility tools such as Sports Carnival, or a general booking system like Reserving. The main difference is the charge: fee-based platforms take a percentage of each online order, subscription tools charge the venue a flat monthly price.
Most venues put four to six throwers on a lane for an hour, and larger groups take two lanes next to each other. You set the capacity per lane yourself, and the booking page only offers lanes that fit the group.
Yes. A group of seven to twelve books a double lane on the same page, pays the deposit you set per thrower and gets a confirmation with your policy. Bigger buyouts are usually taken by phone and added to the board by staff, so those lanes come off sale.
Yes. Staff add a walk-in group to the board in a few taps, and the booking page stops offering that lane for that hour. Walk-ups and online groups use one schedule, so nobody arrives to a taken lane.
No. Reserving does not collect signed waivers. Venues keep their waiver service and place its link in the confirmation message and the reminder text, so most guests sign on their phone before they arrive.
No. You pay 49, 149 or 499 USD a month (half that billed yearly) and nothing per booking, and guests pay your price only. Your payment provider charges its normal card rate on deposits and prepaid lanes.
