Reserving is escape room booking software for US venues with two to ten rooms. Players pick a room, a start time and their group size on your site or Google, and the booking page only offers rooms big enough for the group and free for the full game plus your reset time. Large groups and weekend evenings can pay up front, text reminders go out the day before, and you pay 49 USD a month per venue, or 149 USD (74 USD billed yearly) with deposits and SMS. Your players never see a booking fee from us.

An escape room sells fixed games: sixty minutes in the room, then fifteen to twenty minutes to reset locks, props and clues before the next group. On a Saturday each room has maybe six sellable slots, and three of them are between 5 and 10 pm. Lose one of those to a no-show group of six and you have lost 180 to 240 USD of tickets that nobody can buy at the last minute.
The board on the right is what that evening looks like when every booking comes in online. Each block is a game plus its reset, so the next start time is always a real one. A group of eight only sees the Lab and the Vault; a couple sees the Cabin first, so your big rooms stay free for the groups that need them.
Try it above. Set eight players on a Saturday at 7 pm and the booking page asks for a deposit; set three players on a Tuesday afternoon and it just takes a name and phone number.
Grey bars are the 15 minute reset after each game. The Heist at 8:15 pm is shown live on the booking page.

Most US escape rooms charge per player, roughly 25 to 40 USD for a 60 minute game, and many book each room privately for one group. Taking full payment or a deposit at booking for weekend evenings and large groups is what keeps prime slots from going empty; weekday afternoons can stay pay-on-arrival.

Ticket prices are typical US ranges published by venues and 2026 cost guides, not a standard. Write the cancellation and late arrival policy once and it shows on the booking page and in the confirmation; our no-show fee policy guide has wording players accept.

Escape room booking software costs from 0 to about 150 USD a month for one venue in the US, but the subscription is only half the story. Tools with no monthly fee, such as FareHarbor and Xola, add a booking fee that your players pay at checkout. Subscription tools such as Bookeo, Resova and Reserving charge a flat monthly price and nothing per ticket.
Here is what a five room venue that sells 600 bookings a month at an average of 150 USD per group pays in a month, counting what lands on the player's receipt as well as yours. The bar is the platform's share only, before normal card processing.
Why the booking fee matters even when you do not pay it: a group of six on a 35 USD ticket sees 210 USD, then 12.60 USD more at checkout. Players compare the final number, not your ticket price, and the fee is the same money you could have charged as a higher ticket. Bookeo is the cheapest subscription in this chart, and it is a strong pick for a simple venue. Our case is the rule engine: deposits by group size and time, text confirmations and the waiting queue at one flat price. The full fee breakdown is in our FareHarbor pricing and fees guide, and the switch itself is on our FareHarbor alternative page.

The best escape room booking software books each room by group size, blocks reset time automatically, takes deposits or full payment on the slots that sell out and adds no booking fee to the player's bill. Single-room venues on a tight budget do well with Bookeo or Resova Lite; venues with four or more rooms and a no-show problem on weekend nights need deposit rules and two-way texts.
Growth at 149 USD, or 74 USD billed yearly: unlimited bookings, 10 staff logins, deposits and prepaid tickets, two-way SMS and the waiting queue. No sales call and no contract.
Core at 49 USD, or 24 USD billed yearly, covers 300 bookings a month, which is enough for one or two rooms open five days a week. Move to Growth when you want deposits.
Multi-Venue at 499 USD a month, or 249 USD billed yearly, for up to five venues with one player list and group reporting. Details on multi-venue booking.

These are the systems US escape room owners compare most often. They charge in two very different ways, so price a normal month at your volume before you look at features.
| Tool | How it charges | Fee on bookings | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| FareHarbor | no monthly fee, rate set per account | booking fee reported at about 6%, paid by players | high-volume venues selling through travel sites |
| Xola | no subscription, contact for pricing | partner fee charged to players, cards from 2.39% + 0.30 USD | tour and activity operators with many channels |
| Resova | Lite 50, Pro 90, Premium 135 USD a month, 100 to 600 bookings, up to 20% off yearly | none, 20 cents per booking over the limit | venues that want waivers and vouchers built in |
| Bookeo | Tours plans from 14.95 USD, Standard 39.95 USD for 1,000 bookings, 30 day trial | none | small venues that want the lowest price |
| Reserving | 49 or 149 USD per venue, 499 USD for 5, half that yearly | none, your processor's normal card rate | 3 to 10 room venues with weekend no-shows |

Add each room with its player capacity, set game length and reset time, decide which slots are prepaid, then put one booking link on your website, Google Business Profile and Instagram. Most venues take their first online booking the same day.
Each room is its own column on the board, with the most players it takes, so groups only see rooms they fit in.
A 60 minute game with 15 minutes of reset is the usual setup. Start times are calculated from both, so a room is never booked mid-reset.
Full tickets on Friday and Saturday evenings, a per-player deposit for groups of seven or more, a card hold for first-time bookers.
Put the booking link on your site, your Google Business Profile and your Instagram bio. Import past players from a CSV so regulars are recognized.
US escape rooms mostly use activity booking platforms such as FareHarbor, Xola, Resova and Bookeo, or a general booking system like Reserving. The main split is how they charge: fee-based platforms add a percentage to the player's checkout, subscription tools charge the venue a flat monthly price and nothing per ticket.
Take payment at booking for the slots that sell out. On Growth you set a rule that charges full tickets on Friday and Saturday evenings and a deposit for groups of seven or more, and two-way text reminders let the group leader cancel by reply so the slot goes back on sale.
Yes. You set the reset minutes once, and every booking blocks the room for the game plus the reset. The booking page never offers a start time that cuts into another group's reset.
Yes. Each booking holds the whole room for one group, and the booking page only shows rooms whose capacity fits the group size, so a party of nine is offered the rooms that take nine.
No. You pay 49, 149 or 499 USD a month (half that billed yearly) and nothing per booking, and players pay your ticket price only. Your payment provider charges its normal card rate on deposits and prepaid tickets.
No. Plans are monthly or yearly and you buy them online without a sales call. Core includes 300 bookings a month; Growth has no booking limit.
