Small groups and regulars. A two-hour room with a name and a phone number is enough.
Reserving is karaoke booking software for karaoke bars, KTV lounges and bars with one or two private rooms. Guests pick a date, a start time and how many people are coming, and the booking page offers only a room that fits the group and is free for the whole session. Weekend nights and the big party room can require a deposit, reminders go out by text, and walk-ins sit on the same board as bookings. It costs 49 USD a month per venue, or 149 USD (74 USD billed yearly) with deposits and two-way SMS, and we take no percentage of your room revenue.

The expensive mistake in a karaoke bar is not an empty room on a Tuesday. It is a party of four sitting in the twenty-person room on a Saturday at 10 pm, while a birthday group of fourteen gets told you are full. When bookings come in by phone, Instagram messages and a paper book, nobody sees the whole night at once, so the big rooms go to whoever called first.
A karaoke room reservation system fixes that by matching the group to the room. You set the capacity of each room, the session length you sell and the minutes you need to clear glasses and wipe the mics. A group of eight is offered a ten-person room, never the party room, and the party room only opens to groups that need it. The live demo above runs this exact logic on a sample lounge with four rooms and a party room.
Try it: set sixteen singers and any evening, and the board finds the party room and asks for a deposit. Set four singers on a Friday at 9 pm and it asks for a weekend deposit on a small room.

Most US karaoke lounges charge for a private room by the hour, with a higher rate on Friday and Saturday nights, and many switch to a per-person rate or a food and drink minimum for the largest rooms. Online, the setup that works is simple: sell the room for a fixed session, ask for money up front only where a no-show really hurts, and keep weeknight booking as quick as a name and a phone number.

your call
Some venues hold a card after midnight, others keep it open for walk-ins only. Set it per room.
The amounts and time windows are examples you set yourself, not an industry standard. Show your cancellation terms on the booking page and in the confirmation text; our no-show fee policy guide has wording guests accept without arguing at the door.
03
One board with every private room, the booking page on your own domain and Google profile, and a guest list that belongs to you, not to a marketplace.
Three paid sessions in one room, no overlap and no guessing at the host stand.
04
Yes, if both live on one board. When a group of five walks in at 9:40 pm, the host adds their name and phone, and the quoted wait comes from the rooms that are free right now, the bookings about to start in them and the groups already waiting. Room D is booked from 10:30, so the walk-in is offered it until 10:20, not left to sing into the next group's slot.
Back to back sessions work the same way. Each booking blocks the room for the session plus the cleaning time you set, so a 10 pm group never arrives to a room full of empty glasses. If your venue also seats a bar or dining room, the same waitlist covers it, as described on our restaurant waitlist app page.
05
Karaoke booking software costs roughly 40 to 200 USD a month for one US venue. Waitlist apps are cheapest, general booking tools charge per resource or per staff calendar, and entertainment venue platforms quote a custom price that usually starts near 100 USD a month.
Here is the monthly list price for a lounge with six private rooms. Two things move the total: tools that charge per room get more expensive with each room you add, and some take a cut of every paid booking on top of the plan.
06
The best karaoke booking software is the one that books rooms by party size, blocks cleaning time between groups, takes a deposit on the nights you sell out and costs the same however busy you get. For a single karaoke bar with three to ten rooms, a flat-priced room booking system such as Reserving Growth covers all four for 74 to 149 USD a month.
Pick something else if you need a different shape of product. If you run a family entertainment center where karaoke is one of eight attractions with waivers and party packages, an entertainment platform like Funbutler fits better. If your karaoke system is Singa or KaraFun and you want rooms to switch on automatically when a booking starts, look at the booking add-ons those systems sell. And if you only need a waitlist for walk-ins, a waitlist app is cheaper.

Prices from each vendor's public pricing page in October 2026. Singa Business Box and KaraFun Business also sell booking add-ons tied to their own karaoke systems; ask them for a quote. If you also rent pool tables or sim bays by the hour, see our pool hall software and golf simulator booking software pages, which run on the same board.

Most karaoke bars are taking bookings the same afternoon. There is no sales call and nothing to install.
Name each room, set its capacity and the session lengths you sell, such as one, two or three hours.
Block 10 or 15 minutes after each group, and set opening hours per day, including late nights past midnight.
For example 50 USD on Friday and Saturday after 8 pm, 100 USD for the party room, nothing on weeknights.
Paste the widget on your website, add the link to your Google profile and Instagram bio, and turn on text reminders.
The widget works on any site builder and on a Google Business Profile link; the details are on the booking widget page.
Yes, when the venue uses a karaoke room reservation system. Guests choose a date, a start time and the number of people, and the booking page offers only rooms that fit the group and are free for the whole session. On Growth they pay a deposit or leave a card on the same screen, and the booking is confirmed straight away.
Most US karaoke lounges charge per room per hour, often with a higher weekend rate, and some charge per person per hour or add a food and drink minimum for the largest rooms. Reserving books the room for the session length you sell, and you set your own deposits, card holds and minimums on top.
Take money up front only where a no-show costs you. On Growth you set a deposit for Friday and Saturday nights and the party room, and two-way text reminders let guests cancel by reply, so the room goes back on sale for the walk-ins at the door instead of sitting empty.
Yes. Staff can book two rooms for one group from the board, for example Room C and Room D for an office party of eighteen when the party room is taken. Online, the booking page offers the single best-fitting room, and you can list a larger room or package for groups that need it.
No. Reserving handles rooms, bookings, deposits and reminders, and does not switch your karaoke screens on or off. If you need rooms to unlock automatically when a session starts, check the booking add-ons sold by your karaoke system vendor.
Yes. Opening hours can run past midnight, so a Saturday that closes at 2 am sells a 12:30 to 2:00 session on the same night's board rather than splitting it across two days.
No. You pay 49, 149 or 499 USD a month, half that billed yearly, and nothing per booking. Your payment provider charges its normal card rate on deposits and card holds that are charged.
No. Plans are monthly or yearly and you buy them online. Core includes 300 bookings a month, which suits a bar with two or three rooms; Growth has no booking limit and adds deposits and two-way SMS.
