SevenRooms pricing and SevenRooms cost per venue, with the contract and add-ons
For restaurant owners and general managers pricing a reservation contract.
SevenRooms does not publish its prices. You get a quote after a demo, usually on a yearly contract per venue. Software directories and 2026 pricing reviews put the starting point at about 499 USD a month per venue, with operator reports ranging from roughly 300 to over 700 USD, and more once you add email marketing, text messaging or event modules. There is no fee per cover. For a single restaurant, a year at those reported rates comes to about 3,600 to 8,400 USD before add-ons and setup.
How much does SevenRooms cost per month?
SevenRooms costs about 499 USD a month per venue as a starting price, according to GetApp, Software Advice and several 2026 pricing reviews. That number is not on the SevenRooms site. Its pricing page lists three plans, Starter, Growth and Premium, and every one of them says "Get a quote". The real figure for your restaurant depends on how many venues you sign, which modules you take and how long the contract runs.
Here is what is public, and what is reported by third parties. Treat the reported column as a range to test the quote against, not as a price list.
| SevenRooms plan | What the pricing page lists | Reported price |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | guest profiles and CRM, branded reservations and waitlist, table management, reputation management, basic marketing automations, bookings from its marketplace partners without cover fees | from about 499 USD per venue a month |
| Growth | quote only, no features listed | not reported consistently |
| Premium | quote only, no features listed | 1,000 to 2,000 USD or more per venue with marketing and ordering modules, per one 2026 review |

Why SevenRooms does not show a price
SevenRooms sells to groups and hotel restaurants as much as to single dining rooms, and the price is built from parts: number of venues, the modules switched on, message volume and the contract term. A quote lets the sales team bundle those. For you it means two restaurants of the same size can pay very different amounts, and the first number you hear is a starting point for negotiation, not the floor.
What add-ons does SevenRooms charge extra for?
SevenRooms lists six add-ons on its pricing page, each priced separately: Email Marketing, Event Management, Voice AI, WhatsApp and Text Marketing, API and Integrations, and Group Portal. Gappsy reports WhatsApp messaging at roughly 100 USD a month. The others are quoted. If you plan to send campaign emails or texts, price those modules in the first quote, because they are the ones most likely to grow.
- Email Marketing, for campaigns and automated emails to your guest list
- WhatsApp and Text Marketing, for promotional texts, reported at about 100 USD a month for WhatsApp
- Event Management, for private dining and event inquiries
- Voice AI, for answering reservation calls
- API and Integrations, for POS and other connections beyond the standard set
- Group Portal, for reporting across several venues
Does SevenRooms charge per cover?
No. SevenRooms does not charge a fee per cover the way OpenTable does, and it says bookings from its marketplace partners carry no cover fee. You pay the monthly subscription for the venue instead. Some reviews report a small percentage, about 2% to 3%, on prepayments and deposits taken through its payments, so ask whether that applies on your quote and what the card processing rate is.
Is there a setup fee and a contract?
SevenRooms sells on a yearly contract per venue, according to every review we found, and it does not publish a monthly option. Setup and onboarding are part of the quote. One 2026 pricing guide reports setup fees from about 5,000 USD up to 25,000 USD for larger groups, based on operator reports; a single restaurant should expect less, but ask for the number in writing. Before you sign, get these lines on paper:
- the monthly fee per venue, and whether it rises at renewal
- setup, onboarding and training charges
- contract length, automatic renewal and the notice period to cancel
- card processing rates and any percentage on deposits
- text and email message limits, and the price above them
- how you export your guest list and reservations if you leave
Put the renewal notice date somewhere you will see it. Restaurants that miss a 60 or 90 day notice window are usually signed for another year, so it is worth tracking it the same way you would a lease, in a calendar or in contract management software if you run several venues.
What a year of SevenRooms costs, worked out
Here is a realistic first year for one restaurant at the reported starting price, with one messaging add-on and a modest setup fee. Your quote will differ; the point is to see how the parts add up.
| Line | Per month | First year |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription, one venue | 499 USD | 5,988 USD |
| WhatsApp messaging add-on | about 100 USD | about 1,200 USD |
| Setup and onboarding, example | once | 2,000 USD |
| Total before card processing | about 599 USD | about 9,188 USD |
The setup line is an example figure for illustration, not a reported SevenRooms price. Card processing on deposits is paid on any system.
SevenRooms vs OpenTable vs Resy on price
The three charge in different ways, so the cheapest depends on how many guests come through each one's app. OpenTable has a lower plan price and a fee on every network guest. Resy and SevenRooms charge a flat subscription. For a busy room where most guests book directly, SevenRooms' lack of cover fees helps, but its starting price is the highest of the three.
| System | Monthly price | Per cover | How you buy it |
|---|---|---|---|
| SevenRooms | about 499 USD and up, reported | none | demo, quote, yearly contract |
| OpenTable | 149, 299 or 499 USD | 1.00 to 1.50 USD per network guest | published plans |
| Resy | 289 or 459 USD | none | published plans |
| Reserving | 49 or 149 USD per venue, half that yearly | none | online, monthly or yearly, no sales call |
At 1,200 network covers a month, OpenTable Core comes to about 1,499 USD a month, well above SevenRooms' reported entry price. At 200 network covers, OpenTable Basic is about 449 USD, a little below it. Resy's 289 USD plan undercuts both on paper, but it is built around the Resy app.
Is SevenRooms worth it for a restaurant?
SevenRooms is worth it when you will use its guest CRM and marketing: automated emails to past guests, tagged regulars, feedback tracking and reporting across several venues. Groups with three or more restaurants and a marketing person running campaigns get the most from it. A single neighborhood restaurant that mainly needs a reservation book, deposits for large parties and text reminders pays for modules it will not touch.
Ask yourself one question before the demo: who on your team will build the email and text campaigns each month? If nobody, you are buying a reservation book at a CRM price.
When a flat per-venue reservation system is the better buy
If what you need is online reservations on your own website, a floor plan board, deposits on large parties and busy nights, two-way text reminders and a guest list you can export, you do not need a quote. Reserving does that for 49 USD a month per venue, or 149 USD with deposits, SMS and a waiting queue that refills cancelled tables, half that billed yearly. There is no cover fee and no contract. A year of Growth billed yearly is 888 USD, against roughly 6,000 USD for SevenRooms' reported starting subscription alone.
We do not run email campaigns, a marketplace or ordering, so if those are why you are looking at SevenRooms, keep it on your list. If they are not, compare the two side by side on our SevenRooms alternative page, or see how the reservation book works for your room on the restaurant reservation system page.
