Mindbody does not list US prices on its site, so these are the figures studios and pricing reviews report after the sales call. Card processing, the branded app and marketplace commissions are charged on top.
The detail that matters most for a spa sits in the plan list on Mindbody's own pricing page: room and resource management is an Accelerate feature, not a Starter one. A spa that has to stop two therapists from booking the same treatment room is effectively buying Accelerate.

Ask for your own quote before you compare. Reserving prices are monthly list prices; yearly billing takes Core to 39 USD and Growth to 119 USD a month.

Take a day spa with six therapists and three treatment rooms. It needs room management, so on Mindbody it sits on Accelerate at about 259 to 279 USD a month. On Reserving it fits Growth at 149 USD: ten staff logins, rooms and therapists on one board, deposits by service and two-way SMS. That is roughly 1,300 to 1,550 USD a year less, before processing.
Add a second location and the gap doubles: about 520 to 560 USD a month on two Accelerate plans against 298 USD on two Growth plans. At three locations Mindbody runs about 780 to 840 USD a month; Multi-Venue covers up to five locations for 499 USD, with one client record across all of them.
A massage therapist working alone is a different case. Mindbody Starter is more than most solo practices need, but so is our Growth plan. It depends on what you sell. For a yoga, pilates or fitness studio that runs a class schedule, memberships and class packs, a class-first tool such as WellnessLiving, Mariana Tek or PushPress is the better Mindbody replacement, and so is staying on Mindbody. For a spa, massage studio or wellness clinic that sells appointments, a booking system built around therapists and rooms does the job at a fraction of the Accelerate price.
